Reflections on Joint and Individual Interviews With Couples: A Multi-Level Interview Mode

When researchers are interested in the experiences of couples, mode interview is typically considered a binary choice between separate individual interviews with each partner, or joint both partners together. That is, if explicitly at all. In this article, we illustrate reflective process undertaken to explore role production knowledge. Our focus adoption multi-level semi-structured wherein couples were interviewed jointly and individually one visit.
